Jack and Novus Appeared suddenly at the foot of the Ridorana Cataract. Jack looked at his teleport materia. "FOR FUCKS SAKE." Said Jack as he noticed the crack in it. " I lend you it to save my arse and you break it. well damn now we got to do this by foot...."

"Sorry about that." Novus states apologetically to Jack. "Ill buy you another one later on Jack" He says, and draws the Fenrir, just to be ready. Taking a few steps, he heard a whinny of a mistmare. "Hey, isnt this area supposed to be clear of monsters?" Novus asks Jack, looking around, then Novus raises his hand ans says "Winds of Zephyr" casting the hastening magick. Then he looks forward "I dont think this will be an easy journey.."

"God, I cant ever get a moment of just walking into a place, kill the bad guy and leave can I" sneered Jack as he unsheathed his sword. "Luckily I have some tricks up my sleeve This time," he said as he equipped a bright blue materia. "Shall we go make our welcome?"

Novus looks at Jack and smiles "Heh, cant wait to try out your new materia huh?" Novus Jokes as a MistMare walks around the corner "Damn, we have company" Novus states, and the MistMare charges. Novus dodges as the MistMare charges right past him, and then he gets ready to attack when he hears the soft click again, and the Fenrir ejects the other sword into the air, and Novus catches it, and smirks "hah, that is so cool" he states, and then looks at the Mistmare, which is digging at the ground, getting ready to charge again.

"Correction we have more than company," Says Jack as he looked around. "It looks like we are surrounded... Again." Jack holds out his hand, and roars "SCATHE!!!" A large Beam of energy emitted from his hand and engulfed several enemies. "Well make that we were surrounded." Joked Jack as he looked at his hand. "Sweet!!"

Novus laughs at Jacks reaction to Scathe, and then jumps up, and lands on the back of that Mistmare, then stabs his sword into the neck of it, and smirks "end of your Journey, beast" then he pulls out his sword and wipes it off, then looks at Jack "Well, since you took care of the rest, shall we continue?" Novus states, and starts walking away

Jack looks at his hand "Oh yeah im gunna have fun with this." he laughed as he looked up and notice far atop the Pharos a swirling black cloud. "Well shit kid looks like we're have a nasty waiting atop the tower." He said as he walked along side Novus. "Hey you handle that pretty well."

Novus smiles lightly at the compliment from someone like Jack and looks up to where Jack was looking, at the swirling dark cloud "Your right.. Looks like a big nasty up there.. the mist is thick also.." Novus states as and looks at a passage, blocked by fallen rubble "Hm.. Wonder whats behind there.." Novus states.

As Cade slowly walks up the steps of the Ridorana Cataract and looks in with a slight tinge of fear. As he tries his best to calm himself he hears the sounds of a fight going on. As he started to run up the stairs he noticed a dark swirling cloud and thought to himself that didn't look good at all. As he made it to the entrance of the Cataract he saw a human and a Viera walking away towards the swirling cloud.

"I wonder if those two need some help....hmph who cares, I am here for some damn treasure!" He said to himself.

As he started to walk in the opposite direction he heard a noise he really didn't want to hear. It was a faint scraping and it was coming from in front of me. As he slowed down it came around the corner. And he saw what it was....an Avenger.

"Aww dammit" He said as he drew his sword. "This is going to be a fun one" He said as he started running towards the Avenger.

Before the Avenger could even react he jumped high onto to a ledge he saw when he was running. As the Avenger looked up with a look of pure anger Cade jumps down with his sword in a stabbing motion, right before he made it with amazing speed the Avenger grabbed him and threw him against the wall. As he slowly fell to the ground he thought to himself what did he get himself into. As he got up the saw that the Avenger was walking over this way so he quickly regained his posture and said.

"I think it is time for this fight to take a little turn." He said while raising his hand up.

Suddenly the Avenger stopped dead in its tracks and started to lift off the ground. Then it slammed into one of the walls, and another. As it fell to the ground Cade started to run towards with his sword high above his head, he jumped into the air and came down directly on the Avenger's head. Piercing it right through.

"That's for making me bleed you son a bitch" He said as he spat out some blood from his mouth.

He walked past it's body and started to walk down the corridor. He glanced around and saw that same dark swirling cloud again, and thought that after that battle seeing that again definitely wasn't a good omen.

"I think we are being followed" Whispered jack loud enough only the vierras sensitive hearing could detect. They continued Looking at the pile of rubble that blocked their way. "God I hate it when the Front door is locked." Said Jack as he removed his sword and equipment. He pulled up his sleeves and took a deep breath. "stand back." Said Jack as he held his hands in front of him. "SCATHE!!!" Roared Jack his voice filled with power and magic began coursing through his veins. A bright light emitted from his hands and began to focus into a Larger Beam then before. The Boulders started to disintegrate before their eyes. Jack feel to the ground breathing heavily. "DAMN that spell has a bitch of a kick to it." Joked jack as he took out a vial and chugged it. He licked the remaining blood from the vial off his lips. "Mmmm,"

Novus smiles "Yea. We are, i heard him a little bit ago, sounded like he was fighting aswell." Novus watches as Jack uses Scathe on the blocking, and then smirks "You like that too much." Novus states as he walks past the rubble, and then looks up "uhm... Jack, we got some large company.." Novus states and dodge/roll as a large sword slams into the ground. A Fenrir.. The beast Novus' sword was named after, had been hiding behind the blocked door, protecting the path to what Novus and Jack seek. "Damn it, this is all we need" Novus states and charges the Fenrir, jumping up as it swings the sword vertically, just missing him, and then Novus does a few slashes on the back of the Fenrir with his swords, causing the beast to flail and throw Novus off, and into a wall hard. Novus tries to regain his composure as the Fenrir turns to Jack.

The Fenrir towered over Jack and unleashed a beastly roar, the monsters drool specking Jacks face. Jack wiped his face off and Glared at the beast. "OH HELL NO! YOU DID NOT JUST ROAR AT ME!" Yelled Jack at the beast as he drew his sword. "ONE THING I CANT STAND IS STUPID ANIMALS THINKING THEY CAN SCARE ME." Jacks Eyes started glowing a fiery red. He looked up at the fenrir and unleashed a ear deafening roar that caught even the Fenrir off guard.

Jack's body ignited into flames, as his clothes tore and large wings erupted from his back. Jack disappeared, the Fenrir looked around stunned suddenly blood burst from the beast, and Jack reappeared his sword plunged deep within the beast's back.

The Fenrir fell to the ground and Jack landed softly on the ground His body glowing softly as he returned to normal. He walked towards the door. "Come on boy, we got a job to do." Said Jack harshly "I havent got time to screw around."

Novus stands up and looks at Jack, with a suprised look on his face. "what the hell is he..." he says quietly and then treads off after him "Yes, we havent got the time to mess around" Novus states as a Bat eye comes around the corner, Novus quickly merges the Fenrir back to one sword then waves his hand lightly and throws a powerful Fireball at the Beast, hitting it in his gigantic eye, then runs after Jack "Wonder if Sephiroth will be there... i.. ne..need to fight him.." Novus states to himself

"Yeah if he is here kid im gunna rip his fucking heart out." Said Jack as he walked into the large Round Room. He walked up to the elevator in the center of the room. and Looked at it. "How convenient, The Elevator seems to be working." He hopped over the small door. "Going up." Said Jack

"Heh.. I get first try" Novus says very quietly so Jack doesnt hear, then hops into the Elevator after him "You seem to be in a great mood now Jack." Novus states as stretches and then seathes the Fenrir, and grabs out a Potion, Drinking it quickly, then throws the bottle away and unsheathes The Fenrir again and leaves it in the single sword form, looking at the elevator door, ready for anything.
