"I don't think I'd like being immortal," Rieka said looking at the human, "I'm only 17 and already everyone I loved has died. I wouldn't want to live when everyone I care about has gone. I guess you could find new people to care about, but after time there would be to many people to miss. Also, I like to think that if I joke with death he will be easy on me. But mother always said that I thought to much. Do you think I think to much?" Rieka continued skipping around Romulus but added Atnem to her circles.

"First of all no one is immortal that I have ever met and second I agree that anyone that is immortal would have to distance themselves from people they meet to stay sane. I'm only 212 and my whole family has been dead and any friends I happened to make. Anyways we are almost to the mansion," said Romulus as he walked up the steps to the front porch with each step making a loud noise.

"No, I don't suppose that would be any fun at all." Atnem went silent. He followed Romulus up the steps, each one bending under his weight, feeling like it would crack. He readied his bow and nocked an arrow, just in case. He tried peeking through the dusty windows, but was unable to see anything. "Looks like the coast is clear. Should we knock and see if anybody's home?"

"Oh yes lets just knock on the door, 'Hello mysterious mansion that kills things we have a snack for you, a nice tasty werewolf, we'll just leave it here for you." Suddenly there was a loud noise from inside the mansion. Rieka yelped and jumped behind Atnem.

"Sounds like the mansion or something in it is excited you came Rieka," said Romulus with a smile on his face. Then Romulus was just about to go and open the door, but then the door slowly creaked open. Then Romulus said, "Well this house seems very interesting so far."

Rieka sniffed the air once the door opened and then sneezed. "It's dusty, musty, and bloody in there. Most of the blood is old though I'd say at least two weeks." She cocked her head to the side with her left ear towards the door. "I can't hear anything, just a few rats in the walls. But I'm not going to be the first one in."
