"Where am I..?" Ferris said.

He looked around and only thing he could see was darkness. Anyway, this
was not any regular dark. He could see himself, and some weird creatures...
Something like souls...

"Epic!" He shouted like a little boy who had just seen a candy shop first time.

He walked around and watched everywhere. When he met a soul, he said: "Hello." It didn't care at all. It was just floating in there. He touched it and he heard a horrifying scream inside his head. Scared and unsure he decided to walk towards it. The screams began to be louder. Then he felt warm. He had two souls now. He looked around and started feeling stronger. Whose soul was this? Whose life was taken away. Or was it already taken? He walked around and saw more souls. Then there was even more, and even more. It was like an army. Then they all started flying at him. Just before the souls hit him, he woke up in his bed. "What a nightmare..." He said after looking around for a while. He was sleepy and went to dress himself up. He realized that it was just a dream. He never got another soul. But...

A few seconds later he heard funny voices from outside. He opened the curtains and looked outside. It was a chaos out there. The souls he saw in his dreams... They had attacked The City of Lanatha. People were fighting against them and running away. It wasn't a bloodshed, a soul cannot bleed or make a human bleed. Well... Maybe not from the outside... He saw them. They were on a horrible pain and were totally doomed. "This might be the end of Lanatha..." He stopped his sentence and took his Shotgun. "...But this is my town now and I wont let it go..."

Atnem had come to Lanatha for supplies and a drink. His hunting was successful lately, so he had treated himself to a night at the inn with one of the more pleasant looking locals. His visits to Lanatha were usually quiet and uneventful, but not this time.

He awoke in a cold sweat, breathing heavily. There was screaming outside. The townspeople seemed to be going insane. His bed partner had run off, a few of her garments still thrown on the floor, and left the door to the room open. Atnem clothed himself and nocked his bow before heading down the hall.

The inn was deserted. No, someone was there, at the end of the hall. It was a man, and he was... laughing? Atnem called out, "What's going on? Who are you?" The man walked toward Atnem, laughing louder now. He had a knife. "Stop there! I will shoot!" The man was running now, sprinting. Atnem saw his eyes. They were full of rage, but completely devoid of life. Atnem unleashed his arrow, right through the man's head. He fell and landed at Atnem's feet. "Something terrible is happening. At least it'll be more exciting than hunting." He left the inn.
