Novus appears in front of Gretchen's shop in a cloud of dark energy, and looks at the shop "Oh god.. shes going to flip.." Novus says, not paying attention to the people staring at him, no one has ever seen a viera appearing like that before. Then Novus takes a breathe and walks into Gretchen's shop slowly. "Gretchen, i got to tell you something.."

"What That idiot Jack do this time." Said Gretchen without even looking up from the book she was studying intently. She mumbled something under her breath as she turned away and Walked into the back room " WELL COME OUT WITH IT!" She bellowed, as she searched through her many bottles of spell components.

Novus looks at Gretchen "JACK IS GONE!" he yells at her "He beat Sephiroth, then was taken by the gods!" Novus continues, then takes the Kingslayer off his back "Here's proof, Jack told me to watch after it." Novus states, holding up the Kingslayer so Gretchen could look at it.

Gretchen Dropped the bottle she held in her hand and it shattered on the ground. "WHAT!?!?" Bellowed Gretchen as she unleashed a large bolt of lightning at Novus. It struck the Kingslayer and the blade Flew into Gretchens hands. "What DO YOU MEAN HE'S GONE" Bellowed Gretchen as she Looked at the blade.

"HES GONE!" Novus yells to get the point across "he said he had to pay a debt.. before he dissapeared.." Novus says, and then Novus looks up, and sighs lightly, looking back at Gretchen "why did you take the sword?!" He asks kinda sternly, not thinking about who hes talking to.

"I TOOK THE SWORD BECAUSE ITS MINE!!!! KINGSLAYER ROAR!!" Bellowed Gretchen as the Kingslayer beamed light and Transformed into a Large bow. "CHRONICLE OF THE TRAVELER" Said Gretchen as she fired an arrow into the wall. A large circle formed on the wall and Events of what happened atop the Pharos Unraveled before her eyes.

Novus watches as everything happens again, Him learning of being a Sephiroth clone, Jack getting the power of the gods, Jack decimating Sephiroth, Cloud and Novus fighting the Dark Lord. He watches it all, feeling as though it was a different person doing it, and not him. Novus watches as Jack tosses him the Kingslayer, and then vanishes in the beam of light again, making him wince at it. Then he watches as he walks over and picks up the angel feather and is en clouded in dark aura. The feeling of being alone again, stronger than every in his head. "See... I told you." Novus says lightly, not high enough for Gretchen to actually hear

"That fool." Said Gretchen as the Kingslayer returned to normal. She went to the cabinet and pulled out a bottle of finely aged rum and two glasses. She poured herself one and put it to her lips, then said "I'm so very sorry he drug you into this." Then she downed the shot. "So tell me what do you know of your Breaker's Power?" Said Gretchen as she poured novus a drink. "Here boy it will lighten the burden a bit."

Novus sits and grabs the drink, downing it quickly and sighs lightly "I dont blame Jack at all" Novus says quickly, then looks at Gretchen "The power of the breaker.." He says, taking a breath "Ive heard they are the guardians of the worlds, unparalleled in sword techniques." He says slowly, recounting what he has learned "I feel stronger every day." He says, as Gretchen pours him another shot, which he quickly downs again

"The True power of the Breaker come from the heart." Said Gretchen as she snatched the glass from Novus. "Slow down," She said lightly as she drank from the bottle. "To Train the Heart, means to harness your power." She said standing up and going into the back room. She mumbled a little bit as she searched for the correct book. "Ahh" She said as she returned with a small bound book she put it on the table and opened it. "Breakers are called forth along side those known only as The Travelers," She read. "Destined by a higher power, these unique people are chosen to rid the world of the darkness."

Novus looks away from Gretchen to the window, looking out. "So my power comes from my heart huh..." Novus says "Train my heart is to train my power.." he says lightly, then looks back to Gretchen. "So, Sephiroth was the darkness we were supposed to get rid of?" Novus asks plainly, then continues "And how does me being a sephiroth "Clone" fit in.. sounds like a horrible dream to me so far..." Novus says, starting to recount the time he was almost killed by a Behemoth on the out skirts of Rabanastre...

Novus is walking along in the Dalmasca Estersand. When he hears a devilish roar, he turns around and looks as a Behemoth rears and charges him. Novus barely dodges the charge and rolls to his feet, grabbing his bow off his back and notching an arrow, aiming it at the Behemoth and letting it fly, hitting it in the left flank, but doing nothing at all. The behemoth Charges again and hits Novus, flinging him into a large rock. Novus stands up, barely able to stay standing, when the beast attacks again, and hits him, flinging him ofter the raging river in the Estersand, as its the rain season, and the Behemoth, unable to cross and finish Novus, trods away. Its raining now, Novus is barely conscious, hears the voices of three people..

"Hey over here" One voice states, as two people walk up to Novus. "Looks like he was attacked by the behemoth we just killed Hojo." States the other. Then Novus hears another voice, a voice he wont forget "Hehe.. He would be a perfect specimen for project S.." the voice states, a slight laugh the entire time. "pick him up you two, were going to our Headquarters on this planet." says the voice, walking away, the last thing he hears before blanking out.

Novus looks up at Gretchen, as she bellows at him "BOY! FOCUS!" then she continues "Maybe you have had enough.." she says, taking Novus' shot glass away.

"You are welcome to stay as long as you wish." Said Gretchen as she put away the Bottle of rum. "You should at least rest for a couple days, Before setting off again." She said as she walked into the backroom. "You know I could always need another pair of hands." She laughed as she shut the door.

Novus stands up and looks around, sighing lightly "Its either that, or no where i guess" He states and then walks to another room, the door open, it has a bed and stand, the same room that they stayed in the first time Jack and Novus came here. "Jack.. where ever you are, i hope you know what your doing.." He says without thinking and then hears Gretchen yells "BOY, thats where youll stay, you need your rest. Get to bed, we got things to do tomorrow." She continues, trailing off till the point of Novus not being able to hear her. He sighs again and takes off his sheath for Fenrir, and places it next to the bed, sitting down on it. Then he tuns and falls back, laying there till he falls asleep.


"...Comfortable isnt it?"
"Who.. are you.." Novus' asks
"Watch.."

Two men in armor and helmets, otherwise known as ShinRa's infantry men, walk up to the edge of the Dalmascan Estersand, and look around, then they wave and a Man walks up, with short red hair, in a dark black suit walks in the area, with Novus passed out over his shoulder "Ugh, why do i have to carry it?" complains the man. "It was what you were ordered to do, quit complaining Reno" States another man, with medium length black hair, also in a suit. "Fine Tsung.." Reno states and drops Novus to the ground, and Tsung and Reno looks at Novus "So hes the failed experiment of Hojos huh? Seems like all his experiments fail." Reno states and walks off, with the two Infantry men. Tsung walks up and kneels next to Novus "Hojo.. what are you doing to these people.." He states in disgust, and takes out a small Crescent emblem and puts it in Novus' pocket bag. And then stands up "I hope youll be safe.." Tsung states then walks away.

Jack landed outside Gretchens Shop with a loud crash of thunder. Jacks hair smoked a tad, and ash was streaked on his face. " YOU JUST HAD TO USE LIGHTNING!!" Yelled Jack at the Sky He swears he heard a giggle as the Sun began to rise. It made Jack feel like he was reborn, Freshly anew he looked at the necklace that he wore and then knocked on the door of gretchens shop. It was the first time he had ever done that.

"HELLO?!" Novus asks sternly.
"Always hard being alone huh?"
"What.." Novus slowly states
"Time to get up"

Novus is startled awake by the Crash of thunder outside, and then sits up, reaching into his pocket bag, pulling out the Cresent Emblem out of his pocket back he usually never gets in "..." Novus looks closly at it, noticing the ShinRa logo on it, and then he shrugs and places it back in the back, standing up and putting the fenrir back around his waist, then he hears a knock at the door and walks out of the room, Gretchen walks right past him and too the door and opens it..
