Jack and Novus appear in a shop, and Novus quickly sets Jack down against a counter, then looks around "Hello, is anyone there?!" Novus yells, and looks at Jack "Man, stay with me" Novus says as he hears a womans voice "Who is there?" The woman asks, before she ever comes into veiw. Novus states "Im Novus and my friend Jack is seriously hurt!" He says, looking back at Jack

"Oh Jacky what have you done this time," said Gretchen as she helped novus carry Jack to the back." You there boy, boil some water and hand me that white vial, We havent time to spare." ordered gretchen as she inspected the wound. A large hone about siz inches wide and at least two inches deep was in jacks chest. His rip cage shattered and blood was everywhere.

"Bah, Jacky i Told you that one day you would piss off the wrong thing and it would kill your vampire ass." Scolded Gretchen as she worked, trying to mend the wound. "BOY!!! WHERES THAT DAMN WATER. BE QUICK, THEN GO OUT AND WAIT IN THE SHOP,,"bellowed Gretchen.

Novus walks quickly in the room with a pot of boiled water and the white vial, and sets them down on a stand for her, and nods at her, then stands there for a second, looking at Jack, then looks back at the old lady, and sees she is glaring at him, then he walks quickly out of the room and sits down next to the counter and sighs lightly

"Jack, wake up." said a voice soothing and sweet. Jack slowly came too. He smelled the ocean and felt the sand under his back. He opened his eyes suddenly, remembering what happened. He looked down at his chest. There was no hole no sign of injury. In fact Jack had a tan.

The sun was bright he shielded his eyes. He looked at the Small girl who was staring at him a few inches from his face. "Where am I?" asked Jack quietly." and how do you know my name?"

Gretchen Inspected the wound and went to work mending the broken ribs and stopping the bleeding. She worked through the night. Occasionally Cursing Jack as she wiped her sweaty brow.

She reached into his pocket and brought out a dark colored stone. "JACKY what have you done." said Gretchen staring at the darkened stone. "You Idiot. WHAT HAVE YOU GOT YOUR SELF INTO." Yelled Gretchen, as she wrapped Jacks chest in bandages. "BOY GET IN HERE NOW!" Roared Gretchen as she kicked open the door.

Novus' ears twitch as he listens to Gretchen talks to Jack, then he hears her roar "BOY GET IN HERE NOW!" and he jumps up and runs around the counter, right in the room "What? Whats going on?" Novus asks as he runs in.

Gretchen grabs the Viera by the cuff of the shirt and slams him against the wall. "TELL ME EVERYTHING YOU KNOW BOUT JACK AND WHY HE HAS A NIGHTSHARD, TELL ME WHAT THIS FOOL HAS DONE THIS TIME." Roared Gretchen veins began to show in her forehead. "You can start by telling me how he got this hole in his chest! I barely managed to stablize the bastard, now its time to talk."

Novus goes wide eyed as he is slammed against the wall "Ugh.. i.. dont know what that is..or how he got it.. an..and We.. were attacked by a Silver haired man.. Named Se...sephiroth." Novus states, looking at the woman, with wide eyes, afraid at the strength she posseses. "Lady, i dont know anything else.." Novus states, still held up against the wall

Gretchen released the Viera, and went to Jack. His breathing had become normal. "We must wait til he wakes up. Then There is much i need to tell you." She sat down in the chair next to the bed. "in the mean Time you can tell me why he has this night shard. for what purpose does he use a powerful binding agent as such." Asked Gretchen as politely as she could muster.

Novus walks over to a chair on the other side of the room and sits down "Ok" Novus states and takes a deep breath, and looks at Jack for a little bit before hearing Gretchen clear her throat in impatience "by....what i know, he wears it as a necklace. It.. keeps him looking like a human.. and.. not a cursed.. vampire.. I dont know.. He takes it off and transforms.." Novus states, not knowing exactly what happens to Jack with that necklace

"Come on Jacky, Play with me!" Said the small blond girl. "Its been Forevers since We played last." The girl smiled at Jack. Who just stared at the girl. "Who are you," Asked Jack as he slowly stood up. His shirt was off and he had a sun tan."Who are you," Mocked the girl. "Silly, Have you forgot. Well I'll Give you a hint, if you play with me." Giggled the girl as she ran off. "come and Find me"

Gretchen Just sat and stared at Jack. Finally she spoke." You IDIOT!!!!" She yelled and she stormed out of the room.

Novus walks over and looks at Jack, then walks past slowly,and sits down against the wall, trying to think on all that has happened to him recently, and wondering what is going to happen next.. "Alot has happened.. wonder what it has to deal with me.." he whispers

"Gotcha!" yelled jack as he snuck up behind the girl. "Oh no fair you cheated," pouted the girl as she plopped down onto the ground. "You're just no fun Jacky." Jack pointed at the girl. "Alright i Found you, Know you gotta tell me your name." Exclaimed Jack eagerly waiting the answer.

"My name is Linaly," Giggled the girl. Then she stopped suddenly. "Oh Darn, I was having fun," said Linaly "It looks like its time for you to go again." she said as she stood up and waved. "BYE!!! Come see me again soon ok!!!"

Jack awoke with a large Gasp. He looked up and noticed the surroundings. "Oh god, Not her place anywhere but her place,"thought Jack "Shes gunna kill me."

Novus' ears twitch and he looks up, and Novus pops up and runs to Jacks side. "Jack! Are you ok?!" Novus asks alil loud kneeling down at Jacks side, looking at him concernerd at the worried look on Jacks face "Jack.. whats going on!"

"JACK!!!!!!" Bellowed Gretchen as she burst into the room, Jack winced alittle at the sound of that voice. "Oh god here it comes." Thought Jack as he braced himself for the coming terror. "Im sorry I brought her on you Novus," Jack whispered with a smile.

"JUST WHAT THE HELL DID YOU THINK YOU WERE DOING."roared gretchen as she threw Novus away from Jack "RUNNING OFF WITHOUT ANY REASON, LEAVING ME TO RUN THE SHOP BY MYSELF. THEN 150YEARS LATER YOU SHOW UP WITH A RABBIT AND A HOLE IN YOUR CHEST EXPECTING, LIKE USUAL FOR GRETCHEN TO FIX EVERYTHING."

Gretchen grabbed Jacks hair and pulled him into a sitting position. "AND THIS I FIND YOU ARE USING THIS," Gretchen shoved the Nightshard next to Jacks face. "FOR WHAT PURPOSE DO YOU NEED THE POWER OF A NIGHTSHARD, WHAT THE HELL HAVE YOU DONE!!!" Gretchen shook Jacks head.

"GET OFF ME OLD HAG!" bellowed Jack as he shoved Gretchen away. Gretchen stepped back fury shone on her face. "BOY YOU'Re LUCKY I DONT KILL YOU NOW," Roared Gretchen as she wiped her brow. "JUST SHUT THE HELL UP ALREADY WOMAN." blared Jack as he stood up and got dressed. "YOU KNOW DAMN WELL WHY I LEFT AND WHY I HAVE THE NIGHTSHARD."

Novus is thrown away by Gretchen and slams into a wall, and sits there, amazed at the old womans strength and at the argument that is ensuing. Novus looks around and sighs, sitting there, afraid to move cause the old lady could probably kill him. So he sits there, watching the two go back and forth, yelling at eachother like. "My god.. what did i get myself into.." he states quietly
