Are you satisfied with SE?
Well I wanted to know if you are fine with the way that SE is going atm?
I personally am quite disappointed ... yeh trying new RPG-s for X-box isn't the worst idea but I think they should worry more about their loyal fanboys behind Sony consoles while working on FF. I hope FF XIII will be good, I really hope. Otherwise I will be very disappointed in SE and probably lose all faith in them what I have left. X-2 and XII were little letdowns and they have to prove themselves. And limiting their game quality due to the version of X-box isn't a good idea ... Duh I admit that Microsoft pays well and that's another problem. SE seems to care only about money lately. From the boint Square soft and enix joined.(Seems like Enix told SS that there is a way to make money with less work)

What company doesn't care about money?
It's what they aim to do at the end of the day. If a spinoff/sequel game has some famous loved character in it, people will buy it regardless of the quality.
I am satisfied. Albeit, some games haven't been perfect, but perfection can't be obtained, ever. Some games just lack a bit more then others.
Even FFX-2 had a fair few redeeming features.

Re: Are you satisfied with SE?
I am rather disappointed with SE to be honest, they have overused the FFVII franchise now to the point where whenever people think of it they refer to it as the overhyped game with shite graphics and crap story. They made it like this and they continue to do so. They should concentrate on making better games instead of dwelling on the past and using it to gain more money, they began as a company which wanted to please their customers but now they are just a bunch of money grubbing bastards.

Re: Are you satisfied with SE?
i am the biggest fan of the ff7 series... but even i think their milking it too much. and that sucks, i think they should concentrate on another series... maybe lagunas adventures in ff8. or maybe a more in-depth version of ff9... hell it couldnt hurt to bring out another eirgheiz game

I would say I am very satisfied with Square. I know a lot of people really dont like the fact that they are expanding to other consoles and all that, but if you remember right Square used to be only Nintendo. What if they didnt move to Sony, do you think all the FF games they have came out with would be the same. Just imagine a FF on the Wii, it would be a completely different FF. I like the direction they are going, a little change never hurt anybody.

To be honest I am pretty satisfied with SE. You talk about how they are only trying to make money, well yeah of course they are. If you recall like Cade Skywalker mentioned. They started out on the Nintendo, and they were going out of business as SS, so they created a game that was concidered their last fantasy. Which in turn helped them creat the name Final Fantasy.
Once the game was released, it sold if I remember correctly millions. So they made money, and it saved them.
So of course they continued the franchise all the way up to when they left Nintendo and went with Sony. And that is when one of their Best stories was created (FFVII). Some of you may disagree. But in reality it was and still is. Which of course is why they continue with spinoffs.
But back to the point. SS had come back to a rock and a hard place and Enix saw how well they have been in the past and decided to join together.
I do agree that they should leave Xbox alone, but then again I don't want them to stop making either of the FF's or KH's.

Couldnt of said it better myself.. I mean right now, they pulled themselves out of a hard place twice now, and look at how strong their going right now. I mean yea, they mainly depend on Final Fantasy, but its THEIR franchise. why shouldnt they.
Anyways, in short, yes i am satisfied

Kuja. I agree with what you said about them pulling them selves out of those hard places for many years.
Again, anything and everything has to have money to continue to make products and stay afloat.
