The Staff of Magus {Jack and Theo} {Closed}

"Foolish mortal! You think your tiny sword in my chest is enough to weaken me!" Roared the Dark elf with such furiousity, that the walls shook. Theo smiled, as blood trickled down his forehead. His breathing was heavy.

"I have enough strength for maybe one last spell." Thought Theo as he looked at his enemy, A Dark Elf. Strong foes, even magic users fear them as they are matched by few in strengths of their spells. Embedded in the chest of the Elf was his blade, the Sword of Majere. "Thats it!" Thought Theo as he braced himself for what might be his last spell. It was his last hope, One last effort. His search cannot fail here, He was so close to finding the Staff of Magus! He could see it upon the pedestal that the Dark Elf was protecting.

"SERVERUS INCANTATUM VERUS THUNDA!" Blared Theo, and he pointed his staff at the dark elf. Suddenly huge massive bolts of lightning released themselves from his staff, Hitting not the Dark Elf himself. But the sword embedded in his heart. Theo concentrated on finishing off his target, He knew it was working because of the death throws the Elf had started. "I'll see you in hell," Theo said as the Dark Elf exploded into a pile of dust.

Theo stood there for a moment breathing heavily. "Shit, Im about to fall unconscious." thought Theo then he smirked a little and brought a vial to his lips and drank the contents. He could feel enough energy flowing back into him for him to escape this foul place. He walked up to the pedestal and took a long cloth out from his pack and carefully wrapped The Staff of Magus in it. Suddenly the roof began to shake and crumble. "Damn it, Its one thing after another!" Said Theo as he swooned a little bit. He knew his body would give out any moment and he had to escape. "I have no choice!" thought Theo as he raised his staff into the air, And focused on where he wanted to go. "Temras Televas" he spoke as he did he vanished into thin air.

Suddenly there was a resounding boom, and Theo looked down at his right hand, His staff had shattered and took a chunk out of his right arm. The spell had done as he feared and rebounded off the Staff of Magus. He looked around, He was surrounded by a multitude of books. "Atleast i made it." Theo thought as he looked at a young man who was surprised to see him standing on his desk. " Jack help me." Theo said as he collasped on the floor.

Jack was at his desk a large book on it open. A cup of coffee he held in his hand occasionally he would sip on it. Suddenly there was a large bang, and a mage was standing on his desk.

Jack knew this mage, He feared his power too. Though jack feared all mages after all one sentence from them and he would be a pile of dust. But few knew those spells anymore. This mages name was Theo Gellantara, He had visited Jack several times over the past few years. Always researching one thing, The Staff of Magus.

Jack often permitted the use of his library to mages of all orders, Mainly because he held the only copy in existence of some of the books, and Jack could never turn down those thirsting for knowledge.

So here sat Jack staring at this mage, who just so happened to be bleeding all over his desk. Jack moved his cup under one of the more profusely drips of blood. " Waste not, " Jack said with a smile.

Then Theo, said something, " Jack, help me!" then proceeded to collapse on the floor. There Theo lay there bleeding on his carpet. "Cura" said Jack without moving from his seat. A flash of white light engulfed Theo and some of the bleeding stopped. "Shit hes worse than i thought. that must be a pretty bad wound." Jack said standing. "LEON!" He yelled. " Get to the library now! Ive got a wounded mage up here!"

"You've got a what?!?" Leon said as he appeared. He had teleported from the downstairs hall. " Oh my," he said. "He's bleeding all over the carpet!" Said Leon with a sigh, as he started chanting.

Theo's wound began to seal and the bleeding had stopped well enough. Leon reached into his robes and removed some gauze from one of the many secret pockets within. He began wrapping Theo's entire right arm.

As Leon did this Jack poked around the curious looking wrapped pole. He carefully picked it up, making sure he didn't touch the wood beneath the wrapping. He laid it on his desk after wiping up the blood, and slowly unwrapped it. He gasped., "He found it!," Said Jack excitingly "He found the Staff of Magus!"

"Hmmm that must be why he's in this shape. It looks like he had a massive battle. He'll be out til morning I imagine." Leon said has he started moving Theo to a nearby couch "Hey! Little help here!" Leon said impatiently. "Oh your fiesty tonight. I like." Jack said teasing as he helped Leon move Theo.
