Thank you and Farewell

As of June 1st 2010 FFR will be closing do to inactivity and lack of staff. even myself will be retiring. I personally thank you all for the help. and hope you remember us. We love you and if someone wants the site feel free to step up and ask.

That's the saddest news I have heard in ages ... But now my memories.

As many of you know, I have been around this site from the very first days with a few stops here and there. And I want you to know that during that time I have always felt special about this site. Some kind of homely feeling. I don't know if it was because everyone knew everyone on this site or because of the superb staff or something else.
Anyway, does any of you remember the start? Well I do. We all felt so anxious about the site, ready to sacrifice our free time. And we really got going, making huge amounts of posts and becoming to know each-other. And the RP section, it picked up quite fast. And then there was a little slowdown. Many of us thought that this might be it, but the staff never gave up and neither did I, because I believed in the man behind all this, Captain Jack. I have to admit ... that I have forgotten his real name
And so the site continued.Then a little slowdown again. And once again our dear Captain and ofcourse, Andeh, saved the site. By then a small and warmly community had been formed. I had to leave for awhile, but whenever I returned my friends were waiting for me.

I salute you both and especially Captain. I have never met an admin so commited to a site!
