Romulus stopped, looked at Rieka, and said, "Well first of all I would say whatever the men are after it must be of great secrecy since the men kill all creature they see. Also do you have any ruins or places of importance on this island? If you want to protect what your father didn't want them to have maybe we should go there instead."

Rieka sat thinking for a moment. All the shrines are on the other side of the island, or in the towns. Why land here just to have to travel all that distance. No mineral deposits, no rare life forms. Nothing...except...no. We have to go my house NOW." She said getting up and pulling on his sleeve with her mouth. "Dad was a tinkerer, and he was working on something that he wouldn't let me see in the cellar. That has to be what their after, mom but some spells on the cellar but those men won't give up. We have to stop them."

"Ok that sounds like a good guess that probably i what they are after. So we have two option. You could lead the way to your house or you could describe to me where your house is in as much detail as possible and I could teleport us both right outside your house, but either way if your right there will be lots of humans there that we will have to fight. So which one do you want to do?" asked Romulus still facing Rieka.

"Teleport would put surprise on our side. I have an idea. We teleport into the house right next to the cellar door. Immediately upon arriving I cast freezing light, giving you a chance to thin out the crowds, just make sure you jump when I tell you to. Now to set the scene, the walls are tan stones covered in plaster. In front of you is the hearth on the mantle is a picture of my parents, next to it is a basket it's filled with mothers knitting, on top is a blue scarf she's working on. To your left is the dining room table. Hand made the wood is well polished, there are four chairs past that is the front door flanked by two windows, right not the sun would be slanting in landing right on mine and my mothers chairs so we can see to do our work. Above your head you see wood planks jutting out into the room in the corner is a ladder leading up to the sleeping loft. It is a small modest house. But it is warm, it is home." Rieka trailed off and turned her head away from the man, she shook her head to fight back the tears. "I hope that's enough information for you. Are you ready?" She asked turning back to him her jaw set.

"Well that sounds like good enough details to me," said Romulus as he started to concentrate on the detail of where he was now going to teleport. Then he grabbed Rieka and said, "Teleport." Then both of them started to shine and disappeared. Then once they reappeared by the cellar Romulus looked around and saw five men saying some incantations by the cellar door and everywhere else were at least thirty men scattered throughout the room. Then Romulus faced Rieka and said, "It looks like you were right. Now it's your turn."

They landed and Rieka looked around 5 men were trying to break her mothers spells, the room was packed with about 30 men. "It looks like you were right. Now it's your turn." the man with her said. She looked up at him...and nodded. "now" she whispered and the man jumped into the air "Freezing light she said slamming her paw into the ground. A blue light radiated out around her paw on the ground freezing all the men as it touched them. When it reached it's limit the room was still only the man in the air still moved.

Once Romulus had landed he decided to go for the five humans that were by the cellar door. He ran over to them and then sliced all five of them with one quick attack. Then he quickly ran to the other humans in the room killing them one by one. Then when the 60 seconds was about up he quickly finished the last five off and had managed to kill them all right as the time expired. Then Romulus walked over to Rieka and once she was conscious again he whispered, "Well this room should be clear for awhile. You should go ahead to the cellar and get whatever it was your parents were protecting. I'll stay here and guard the door and if anyone enters the room I'll take care of them. Just don't take too long."

Rieka looked at him, "Give me a few seconds It's hard to go down the ladder in wolf form." She climbed up the ladder in the corner and came back down a few seconds later wearing simple dress. She went over to the celar door and knelt down. She held her hands to her mouth and whispered a few words into them and then lay them on the door. A green electric charge spread across the door. She stood up and pulled on the ring to open it. And climbed down into the dark cellar. She lit a lamp and looked around. "Umm I might need some help taking care of this." she said up to him looking at a large item covered in a sheet.

Then two large men appeared talking to each other and Romulus quickly hid in the shadows along the wall and seemed to disappear. Then he quietly sneaked around in the shadows until he was at the door. Then he quietly closed the door and he got out of the shadows and put his hand over there mouths. Then he could tell where exactly each of there hearts were. Then he used trust to disconnect their hearts from the rest of their bodies, but still inside there bodies. Then he he gently placed their bodies on the ground. Then Romulus looked around and saw all the bodies on the ground and thought that he should move them before anyone else came in. So he pointed his pointer finger up and all the bodies rose into the air. He then pointed to behind the door and he slowly moved his pointer finger down. Then all the bodies followed his finger and were all behind the door. Then Romulus walked to Rieka, looked at the item she had very closely, and asked, "Ok but what exactly is that and what are you wanting me to do to it?"

Rieka looked up as the cellar door closed above her. "What is he up to", she muttered to herself. She put the lantern on a shelf and walked up to the thing. It was taller than her but it was only about as wide as her hand. She reached up and pulled off the sheet. It looked like it was made of metal she put her hand out to touch it and felt a slight vibration beneath her hand. "What are you?" She asked it. She tried to lift it but despite it's appearance it was heavy. "Okay..so I can't move you, maybe I can find out what you are." She began rifling through the pages on her fathers desk and the shelves around the room trying to find a clue as to what the thing was.

Then Romulus hid himself in the shadows next to the cellar door. While still watching the door to the room he was in to make sure no more humans entered. Then once he heard Rieka moving stuff around looking for information over the item Romulus said, "You probably won't find any information on that item just laying there. You should try to remember if your dad ever told you anything about this item and you just didn't realize it before."

"Daddy always kept his notes down in the cellar...but this thing is different...I've got it!" she said as she rushed over to the corner opposite the thing. She knelt in front of a brik that looked like all the others and pressed her hand on it. She pushed it in and the stone slid out in her hands. She peered in holding the lamp up to give herself more light. She saw a book and pulled it out. She opened the cover and looked inside. "I've found it. But it's going to take me a while to translate it. Do you think you can give me about 15 minutes?" She asked as she crossed her legs and started reading the book.

Jonatohn stepped off of the ship with the ordres 'find what's in the basment and kill anything that gets in your way.' Sure the orders were generic, but they didn't trust him with the details yet, he was the rookie. He didn't care. The house was in shamblea\s, the door was a big hole. Jnathon then saw trouble standing in front of the basment. A men a few years older then he was with sword drawn. Jonatohn responded by drawing his own weapon. He walked through the hole and stood at a distance that would keep the man from killing him on the spot without having to move. "Now I don't want any trouble, just let me into the basment, I'll get what I need, and leave you alone? Got it?"

Rieka turned a page. "So far I know what it is it was commissioned by the magus council. It increases magical ability ten-fold the magus wanted it for defensive purposes, but it's destructive capabilities are amazing. We can't let these humans get a hold of it." She said all this up through the door hoping the man could here her but she just wanted to feel less alone. "I'm so close to figuring out how it works, when I do I'll know how to stop it. It won't take long now!"

"Well that's good the shorter of time we are here the better," said Romulus. He then turned to the human who had entered the and said, "Now do you think I would let you do that." Then Romulus quickly used thrust with his right hand and Jonathon was floating in the air, but Romulus's attack surprised the human and he dropped his weapon. Then with Romulus's left hand he used thrust on the human's sword to make it fall down into the cellar. Then Romulus slowly walked up to the human and asked him, "Why do you human's feel you need such a dangerous item anyways? What do you plan to use it for? Answer quickly and truthfully and your life may be spared." As he continued to keep him in the air unable to move.
