Squall and Rinoa sat out on the make shift stage that the others had built for them. The two young ones were talking about many things and listening to the music. When suddenly the night sky lit up, as if the sun had risen behind them. Squall, Rinoa, Selphie, Quistis, Zell, Irvine and the whole city turned to look at the source of the light. The light was just a line that reached into the heavens and down into the abyss of the ocean.

The light moved to an angle, that came close to the outskirts of Fishermans Horizon. The earth began to shake and quake. The ocean became violent, making Balamb Garden knock back and forth against the side of the small island town. Squall stood up as he helped Rinoa stand.

"Whats that in the light?" Squall asked pointing into the light. There was a black mass inside the light falling quickly to the earth. The mass came into the atmosphere, making flames burst and engulf it. It broke the sound barrier as continued to fall. Squall rounded everyone up and ran to the spot where it was going to land. "Everyone gear up!" Squall shouted out to the group. As the mass came closer, the earth shook even more making it hard for people to stand. When finally it was so close the night sky lit up so bright it was hard for anyone to see.

Once the mass landed in the water, the light disappeared. Everyone came to the edge of town to see what it was. They found the mass floating in the ocean, Squall was able to get a boat and went to get the floating mass from the water.

Squall pulled it into the boat. He looked it over, searching for something, anything. When he noticed it was human. He got the body back to the town, quickly Quistis ran up to the boat. "Quistis we need to get the body to Balamb Garden." Squall shouted. They quickly got the body to the Garden and into the doctors office.

Cid came into the room, looked at everyone "What is going on?" he demanded. He grabbed Squalls arm and pulled him into the hall as the nurse's and doctor went to work to revive the body. "Why did you bring the thing on board?" Cid asked looking stern into Squalls eyes. Rinoa walked slowly towards them.

"Because he or she is human and deserves to live" she said as she came to stand by Squall. "Come on let's check on their progress." and with that Squall and Rinoa turned and reentered the room. The nurses and doctor were running here and there. On the table lay the mass, with a white porcelian mask and black cloak. One nurse removed the cloack, revealing a glowing white, with blues and reds here and there. Another nurse removed the mask, revealing a squared jaw man, with scars that covered his face but didn't make his looks ugly. Then both nurses began to remove the last of his clothing. Revealing a muscled man, of great physique and many scars.

"Attach these two wired sticky patches." said the doctor to each nurse, who both in haste attached the pads. Once they did a machine began to charge itself. "CLEAR!!!" shouted the doctor. He pushed the green button on the machine, sending an electric shock to the young man. His body jerked. And on another machine showed the young mans pulse began to beep, then fell silent. The doctor charged the machine again. "CLEAR!!!" he shouted again, pushing the button again.

The young man's body jerked again. This time his eye's jerked open. The doctor went over to check him out. But once he got close to the young, he was grabbed and thrown across the room. At this Squall drew his gunblade and jumped to face the young man who had stood up and was reaching for his clothes.

"Stop right there. We mean you no harm. My name is Squall." he spoke to the man. The man had started to advance upon him but stopped when Squall had spoken.

"My name is Nor-El. I have no memory of how I got here. Where am I?" he replied as he backed off and grabbed his white palindon clothing. Slipped them on, grabbed his cloak and mask, headed for the door and opened it. "Is there somewhere else we can sit and talk?" he asked looking to Squall.

"Yes in the cafeteria." Squall replied leading him to the cafeteria. Everyone else followed behind. Once in the cafeteria, Zell ran everyone out, Rinoa sat a large table where they all came to sit. Squall told Nor-El the tale as they all drank some coffee. Once finished.

"I thank you all most kindly. But it is late and from what you have told me it has been a long day. I must bid you far well as I find a place to sleep.". Nor-El said as he started to walk out.

"No" said a voice from the entrance, "You are welcome here. You may have one of the room in the dormitory." said the voice once more as the person walked in. It was Cid. "Squall. You three boys show this man where to sleep." and with that, they all left the cafeteria and went to bed.
